Hi, I’m Ivan!
I'm a postdoctoral researcher in the Formal Linguistics Research Group (GLiF) at Pompeu Fabra University, working in collaboration with Louise McNally.
I received my PhD from the University of Bologna in April 2026, with a thesis on empirical approaches to rivalry in Italian intensifying prefixation, supervised by Nicola Grandi and Francesca Masini.
My research interests lie primarily in derivational (evaluative) morphology, morphosemantics, and quantitative/computational approaches to natural language.
